*Quick message from Kai*
Hello you lot! Have you got a better method of taping the top halves? My method works but leaves a mini gap... Please share it in the comments or post at @kaihopono on Facebook/TikTok.
It'll help the (small) community. Thank you!! 💖

FAQs

  1. Is it easy to build?
    1. Yes! Watch the videos. Please be advised that because the pages require cutting this will require adult supervision for younger children.
  2. What do I need to make it?
    1. Just a printer and scissors. Also pens if your colouring-in. Oh, and also some arms and hands will help with the folding.
  3. Can I print onto card stock?
    1. Yes and it works really well. However, I have found that you need to be very accurate with the scoring part on card stock to make sure it folds correctly. Give it a go and let me know. (All photos are of normal plain paper version).
  4. Can I print more than once?
    1. Err, yees. You’d be surprised how many times I have been asked this recently 😂 This is a downloadable ePack, you can print as many times as you wish!
  5. What size is the finished box?
    1. 8x8cm.
  6. Is it suitable as a kids activity?
    1. Definitely! But recommended for kids 5+ because the cutting and folding is a bit tricky for ages below. It's also a very inexpensive activity because you can have a large number of kids involved making each one and adding their creativity. TIP: If there is a LOT of kids, print them the mini boxes. That way they can each take one home.
